Greetings St. Philips UMC!
It is with much joy and excitement that I write you! I am so very excited about this new journey, that God has brought me to St. Philip’s United Methodist Church as your new Director of Student Ministries. I look forward to meeting you over the next couple of months as I get more and more acclimated into the St. Philip’s community of faith.
I hope you are ready for a very active summer with theYouth Ministries here at St. Philip’s. Lots of opportunities to hang out at the movies, Round Rock Express games, fun days at the park, and of course some amazing mission trips!

I am so excited about our future together and I look forward to glorifying God and bringing more of God’s people to the Kingdom!
Grace and Peace,
Brad Alexander

May is Donate Your Gently Worn Shoes Month!

Your Extra Pair, Could Be Their First May 1 - 31, 2012, St. Philip’s Campus Your gift of footwear is important to children and adults around the world. Footwear can help eliminate the spreading of diseases through the foot as well as help children obtain an education - as many schools have footwear requirements to attend. When you take time to recycle your footwear, you are in fact changing lives. With an average of 700 MILLION pairs of shoes thrown away by Americans each year, the effect on the nation’s landfills and atmosphere could be devastating. Your St. Philip’s Mission Outreach Team is doing their part to change that by partnering with Soles4Souls to collect your gently worn shoes and then recycling your footwear to give it a second chance at life. May is Donate Your Gently Worn Shoes Month! Large Shoe Boxes will be by the doors of the Family Life Center and Chapel to collect your Gently Worn Shoes during the month of May. For more information contact Rev. Steven Buchele.
